HOME SCHOOL CURRICULUM & MATERIALS
- Are all necessary home school materials included in the home school program?
The K-12
Free Home School Program includes nearly everything you need to being home schooling. There are a few
exceptions: some home school materials you will need to acquire at a library; others are common household
items for science experiments or art projects. Most all of our K-12 Free Homeschool Core Curriculum courses
are not only tuition-free, but also the materials (almost) all the time are included. Should you decide to select
any of our elective courses you will find that the heavily discounted tuition is usually accompanied by no-cost or
very low-cost materials. We DO ask that you pay for Shipping & Handling on all courses. Video CD-ROMs are
never sold but are provided on a loan basis. Video-CDs not returned within 30 days of disenrollment or end-of-year
are charged a rate of $10.00 per Video CD. Most of our courses include from 1 to 10 Video-CDs.- When will we receive our home school materials?
- our home school course materials, if any, should arrive 4-7 days from your completed registration. Many, if not most, curriculum materials will be available via download or via online viewing.
- What is the home school curriculum like? Does The K-12 Free Academy supply eBooks, CDs, CD-ROMs, workbooks, and other items?
- Our home school curriculum is rooted in Biblical truth and uses cutting-edge online technology to provide home school students with engaging multi-media content. Depending on the subject, we provide a variety of offline learning materials, as well, including eBooks, CDs, CD-ROMs, workbooks and other items.
- What is included when we enroll?
When you enroll in
The K-12 Free Homeschool, you receive access to all of the course materials, online resources, and support
network that we provide. All Grade K-12 Core Curriculum courses are tuition free and most do not have any curriculum fees.
We just ask that you contribute Shipping & Handling.- What academic resources and features are included?
- When you enroll at The K-12 Free Homeschool, you receive a comprehensive selection of home school courses, a variety of supplemental materials, offline activities, access to an extensive home school support network, and several perks.
- Do you have minimum standards for home school courses and instructional time?
- The K-12 Free Homeschool offers instruction from September-August. Because The K-12 Free Homeschool serves homeschoolers under their local state homeschooling regulations, you are free to participate with us as much or as little as you wish. Of course, you can combine any number of homeschooling activities and/or courses that you create with courses you take at The K-12 Free Homeschool. You can use us as a resource for all of your courses or just a few of them. It is the responsibility of the parent to remain in compliance with all state and national homeschooling requirements.
